Speaker Profile: Sara Minchin
Sara Minchin is a Senior Sustainable Finance and Corporate Risk Specialist at WWF-UK. Her work focuses on sustainable finance practises, policies and regulation and how these lead to tangible sustainable outcomes for our environment. She works with the finance sector, including multilateral finance institutions, commercial banks, asset owners and managers and ESG data providers, to help them better integrate environmental considerations into investment and lending decisions. Her work on sustainable finance regulation, policy and standards for WWF-UK involves work on UK and EU regulation and representing WWF-UK in the British Standards Institute's steering committees for sustainable finance standards and WWF International for the International Standards Organisation's global technical committee on sustainable finance TC322. Sara has a background in finance having previously worked for 3i plc, KPMG and Deloitte. She is a chartered accountant and a fellow of ICAEW and has a BA in European Studies from King College London and Institute d’Etudes Politiques (‘Sciences-Po’) Paris.
